Job Title : Senior Architect - Automotive infotainment and Telematics

Location : Plano, TX

Duration : Full Time (Permanent)


Qualifications

Basic

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.


Preferred

At least 8 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks

At least 9 years of experience in development and delivery of infotainment and telematics products and services for automotive industry and mobile application development

At least 9 years of experience in developing telematics and infotainment applications on operating systems such as QNX, GENIVI, Automotive Linux, Microsoft Auto, etc. In-depth knowledge of application development on Java/ J2EE, Web Services, Front End Technologies, mobile platforms such as Android and IOS. Knowledge of Service aggregation and delivery platforms and frameworks, device management techniques, service validation and deployment

At least 5 years of experience in defining new architectures and driving an independent project from an architectural stand point.

At least 4 years of experience in defining technology solutions for Automotive Infotainment and Telematics domain to solve business/ IT problem

Experience in providing advanced technology advisory services

Preferred to have understanding of market and technology trends.

Experience in diagnostics and prognostics using machine data

Strong understanding of various advanced analytics techniques and tools like Deterministic Modeling, Stochastic Modeling, Meta-Heuristic Techniques, Machine Learning and Genetic Algorithms

Ability to provide guidance for Requirements Elicitation, Architecture definition and Design

Rich experience in development of assets and solutions- PoCs, Prototypes, POVs and Solutions

Analytical and Communication skills
