Job Title: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Operations

Job Summary
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Operations is responsible for leading strategic recruitment initiatives that support the organization's operational workforce and critical leadership hiring needs. This role serves as a subject matter expert for talent acquisition, leading executive, leadership, and confidential searches while partnering closely with business leaders to develop workforce strategies that support organizational growth. The Senior Specialist drives recruiting process standardization, continuous improvement, workforce planning, and talent acquisition initiatives while mentoring Talent Acquisition Specialists and ensuring consistent, compliant recruiting practices across all Versova operations.
Essential Job Functions
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for executive, senior leadership, critical operations, and confidential positions across the organization
  • Partner with business leaders to develop strategic workforce plans and hiring strategies that support current and future hiring needs
  • Provide sourcing support and serve as a cross-trained backup to the Sourcing Specialist in executing sourcing strategies for hard to fill operational leadership positions.
  • Mentor, coach, and provide guidance to Talent Acquisition Specialists, promoting best practices and professional development
  • Monitor recruiting KPIs, develop dashboards, and analyze recruiting metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and process improvements
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Talent Acquisition standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and standardized recruiting processes ensuring consistency across all recruiters and business units
  • Lead implementation of enterprise recruiting initiatives, technology enhancements, automation, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Own the strategy, standardization, continuous improvement, and effectiveness of new hire orientation programs across all locations
  • Partner with People Operations to support internal promotions, transfers, organizational restructuring, and workforce planning initiatives
  • Ensure recruiting documentation, applicant records, and employee files are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for recruiting policies, employment compliance, interview practices, and talent acquisition best practices
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop position requirements, develop interview strategies and design effective selection processes for operational and leadership roles.
  • Lead structured candidate assessments, behavioral interviews, executive interview facilitation, and selection recommendations for key positions
  • Extend employment offers and partner with Compensation and People Operations to support hiring decisions and negotiations
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of recruiting technologies, automation, reporting capabilities, and process improvements to enhance recruiter productivity and candidate experience
  • Represent Versova at leadership recruiting events, industry functions, workforce development initiatives, and strategic networking opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4+ years of progressive talent acquisition or full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting leadership, operations, technical, and confidential positions
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders on workforce planning and recruiting strategy
  • Experience developing recruiting processes, SOPs, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of employment laws, recruiting compliance, and talent acquisition best practices
  • Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence stakeholders across all organizational levels

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, agriculture, food production, distribution, or multi-site operations
  • Experience mentoring recruiters or leading talent acquisition initiatives
  • Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and recruiting technologies
  • Experience implementing recruiting technology, reporting, automation, and process improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning

Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based with occasional travel to Versova facilities, hiring events, and industry meetings. The role requires frequent collaboration with business leaders, People Operations, hiring managers, and candidates across multiple locations. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support recruiting activities, hiring events, leadership interviews, or organizational initiatives. Travel may account for approximately 10-20% of the role based on business needs.
