Sr Systems Analyst

This position is for a Sr Systems Analyst working in Healthcare Billing for a large Insurance Provider. The Analyst will be responsible for designing enhancements and new business applications and/or information systems solutions through integration of technical and business requirements; serving as technical designer to identify best solution and resulting technical specifications within limits of code environment; linking Business Analyst needs and Architect definition to technical solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Overall 6 to 8+ years of IT experience
  • 2 to 3+ years of experience developing Oracle database solutions
  • 5 to 6+ years of Systems Analysis of database solutions
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle database development and administration
  • Understanding of SDLC Methodologies - Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development
  • Working knowledge of System Performance management
  • Problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Strong oral/written communication skills

Job Duties:

  • Design enhancements and new business applications and/or information systems solutions through integration of technical and business requirements
  • Serve as technical designer to identify best solution and resulting technical specifications within limits of code environment
  • Be the bridge between teams - development team, DBA team, support team, network team - to ensure applications are developed and deployed as per the processes defined
  • Conduct initial triage of production support to route appropriately and own the resolution of the support issue.
  • Do system design to make sure network, architecture, database requirements are being handled
  • Respond to production incidents and help triage the root case. Work with the appropriate team to find issue resolution.
