Prioritized must haves for the Senior Systems Analyst:
#1. B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
#2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
#3. Minimum 5 years hands on experience with Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2.
#4. Looking for someone with inn-depth, expert level knowledge of Oracle EnterpriseOne Manufacturing and/ or Distribution and Sales.
#5. Experience with OMW (Object Management Workbench) and EnterpriseOne Enterprise ReportWriter tool is preferred
Responsibilities of the Senior Systems Analyst:
The Senior Systems Analyst will be the functional expert on Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One and provide support to the user community and other related IT systems. The Senior Systems Analyst will also be responsible for training users on new functionality, processes and systems. This role will assist with the implementation of Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One updates and be responsible for testing and supporting all project requirements. The Senior Systems Analyst will design and document workflows and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness. The position will be a Project Manager and lead key projects by proactively developing and maintaining project plans for new system implementation, programs, updates and modifications.
Essential Duties:

  • Analyze and manage assigned projects, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret the business needs and translate them into functional and operational requirements.
  • Directs the preparation and installation systems and procedures, including the design of source documents, technical direction of operations and the format of management reports.
  • Works directly with different business units to quickly understand the business issues and challenges and to define the project concept, objectives and approach.
  • Proficient in JD Edwards Enterprise One Development Toolset (Object Management Workbench).
  • Provide technical support and mentoring for the JD Edwards Enterprise One modules and tools to other MIS staff.
  • Performs programming, database and system design.
  • Identifies industry best practices when solving business problems.
  • Serves in leadership roles and takes ownership for projects.
  • Develops relationships with key business users and fosters a collaborative environment with business units.
  • Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management.
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
  • Manages client expectations effectively.
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
  • Makes effective decisions under pressure and to think analytically.
  • Gathers and interprets relevant data and information.
  • Directs the preparation and installation systems and procedures, including final install.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements of the Senior Systems Analyst:
  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
  • Minimum 5 years hands on experience with Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with JD Edwards OMW (Object Management Workbench) toolset.
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards Enterprise One CNC is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge in JD Edwards Enterprise One modules: Finance, Distribution, Inventory & Manufacturing.
