Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Irving, TX.
Duties Include:
* Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services
* Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and architects to deliver scalable and reusable solutions
* Support front-end and back-end application development and integration efforts
* Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure applications remain secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs
* Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and software release activities
* Monitor application performance, resolve technical issues, and support ongoing system stability
* Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting development best practices and continuous improvement
REQUIREMENTS:
* 6+ years of experience in software development, engineering, or related technical roles
* Experience designing and developing web applications, APIs, or enterprise software solutions
* Knowledge of modern software architecture, development frameworks, and integration methodologies
* Experience working with cloud-based technologies, automated deployment processes, and scalable applications
* Familiarity with database design, data modeling, and data management principles
* Understanding of application security concepts, user access controls, and industry best practices
* Experience with software testing, performance optimization, and monitoring tools

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
