Who Weโ€™re Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated full-time Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.ย We are interested in candidates who want to work for a company passionate about changing lives and building the essential workforce!

The Senior Software Engineerโ€™s duties and responsibilities include:

  • Developing, deploying, and maintaining software applicationsย 
  • Architecting solutions for scalable, secure software applicationsย 
  • Deployment of CI/CD pipelines for web applications and APIsย 
  • Designing and developing microservices using various APIsย 
  • Drive automation and workflow improvements through innovative LLM solutions and strategies that balance speed, function, and long-term robustness
  • Design and maintain backend integrations with CRM platforms
  • Participating in sprint ceremonies and code reviewsย 
  • Mentoring and working collaboratively with other members of the development teamย 
  • Assisting in planning and managing upcoming sprint workย 
  • Performing other responsibilities and projects as directed by the Chief Technology Officerย 

The Skills You Need:ย 

  • 4+ years of professional software development experience
  • 3+ years building production Django applications
  • Experience deploying and managing applications across cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptย 
  • Experience working with relational databasesย (Postgres preferred)
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs.ย 
  • Experience building generative AI solutions.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming and Agile programming methodologyย 
  • Strong attention to detail, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.ย 
  • Self-motivated and works well with limited supervisionย 

Even Better If You Have:

  • 4-6 years of related experienceย 
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experienceย ย 
  • Python Proficiency
  • CRM experience, such as Zoho or Salesforceย 
  • Experience with vector databases or RAG systems
  • Experience configuring CI/CD pipelinesย ย
