Configuration & Data Management Analyst (Developmental to Journeyman)
Launch your career in systems engineering and defense acquisitions support. Starting as a developmental analyst (NH-02) under expert mentorship, you will rapidly advance to a full-performance (NH-03) Configuration and Data Management expert for the 520 SWES. In this role, you will secure the technical integrity, traceability, and change control of critical weapon system software, hardware, and firmware delivered to the warfighter.

Phase 2: NH-03 Journeyman Level (Execute & Lead)
- Lifecycle Management: Independently establish and maintain the integrity of Configuration Data and Documentation items across the entire engineering product lifecycle.
- System Traceability: Provide rigorous traceability and change control for advanced weapon system software, hardware, firmware, and systems engineering products.
- Warfighter Delivery: Drive the delivery of high-quality software and engineering solutions, ensuring all safety, quality, schedule, and cost commitments are met.

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
NH-02:
1. Knowledge of applicable CM policies, plans, principles, concepts, processes, procedures and directives.
2. Ability to plan, organize, and manage assigned projects.
3. Skilled in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a basic understanding of SharePoint administration.
4. Knowledge of CM functional areas applicable to project life-cycle phases, as well as experience in
process improvement efforts to include CMMI processes.
NH-03:
1. Knowledge of configuration, data, engineering data management, and deficiency reporting requirements as
specified in military specifications and standards, and organizational directives.
2. Knowledge of engineering drawings and contractor engineering control/release processes, and tracking
systems such as PLM systems.
3. Understanding of contractor estimating/pricing techniques as related to proposal evaluation.
4. Knowledge of, and skill in, the use of principles of communication, negotiation as required to reconcile diverse
opinions that can arise from conflicts in contracting, engineering data/data management, and audits.
5. Knowledge of the Organizational structure and contractor operations and familiarity with the various
management and technical disciplines involved to sufficiently understand technical and procurement terminology
and procedures.
6. Familiarity with policies and issues pertaining to priority rights in data.
