Senior Service Technician

What we’re looking for: 

We are seeking an experienced electronic security service technician to join our fast growing and dynamic team.

What you’ll be doing: 

The Senior Service Technician is responsible for the service, maintenance, troubleshooting, programming, testing and repair of enterprise level electronic security systems for Healthcare, Higher Education, Utilities, Pharmaceutical, Data Center & Technology and Oil & Gas customers. This role serves as a technical leader in the field, providing advanced support mainly for Access Control, Video Surveillance, and related low-voltage systems. The Senior Service Technician ensures systems operate reliably, maintains strong customer relationships, and supports the operation team when needed. Some travel may be required, along with after hours service calls.

What you bring to the table:

 Minimum of 5 years of experience with installing and maintaining: 

  • Enterprise-level access control systems.
  • Enterprise-level video management systems (IP-basedand analog).

Technical/electrical background.

 Superior problem solving and communication skills.

 Work independently with minimal supervision.

 Familiarization with local electronic security codes and industry standards.

Understanding and ability to work safely in a chemical plant environment.

Ability to safely operate a company vehicle.

Preferred but Not Required

 Access Control System Vendor Certifications in Software House, Genetec, ProWatch and/or Lenel.

 Video Management System Vendor Certifications in Genetec, Avigilon, Exaqc, MaxPro, and/or Milestone.

 Intrusion Detection System Vendor Certifications in Senstar/Optellios, and/or FFT.

 Networking and IT knowledge.

 TWIC Cardholder.

 Experience in computer operating systems, network design and implementation.
