    • Conduct on-site visits, coordinate with end users, and ensure successful system deployment and turnover.
    • Troubleshoot complex system issues across hardware, software, networking, and integrated components.
  • Training, Support & Customer Engagement
    • Serve as a Genetec Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance to customer personnel, GC&E field teams, and office staff.
    • Deliver end-user and technical training to ensure proper system operation and long-term adoption.
    • Maintain strong, professional communication with customer stakeholders to support system performance and satisfaction.
  • Documentation & Project Support
    • Produce accurate system documentation, configuration records, and technical reports.
    • Support project managers with technical insights, design validation, and commissioning updates.
    • Assist with system upgrades, expansions, and lifecycle planning.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or equivalent professional experience in the electronic security industry.
  • Genetec certification required; advanced Genetec training strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Access Control, Video Surveillance, and integrated security systems.
  • Deep knowledge of system programming, database structures, and IP-based security architectures.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to lead technical workstreams.

  • Strong IP networking skills and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver high-quality customer support.
  • Experience with systems design, CAD basics, and database fundamentals is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate with diverse teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • A seasoned security professional who thrives in a hands-on, customer-facing technical role.
  • Confident working with enterprise-level systems and complex integrations.
  • A natural problem solver with strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
  • Patient, professional, and effective when training or guiding others.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional service and building long-term customer trust.
  • Adaptable, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple technical priorities.

Work Environment:
  • On-site role supporting a major customer location in the Tampa / St. Petersburg area.
