Job description

Responsibilities
  • Design security systems including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection and security communications systems
  • Consult with clients on security strategies for perimeter security protection, monitoring and system selections
  • Coordinate with door hardware consultants for electronic security integration
  • Coordinate design efforts working closely with in-house or external disciplines, architectural clients, and building owners
  • Plan and perform the entire project production process
  • Perform contract administration duties of site visits, submittal review, RFI response and coordination and contractor assistance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • PSP or CPP preferred
  • Five to Ten (5 to 10) years’ industry experience
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the design of security systems is required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Bluebeam required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Revit is required
  • Experience with network design to support security systems is a plus
  • Experience with risk and vulnerability assessments is a plus
