Pre-Op Senior Registered Nurse

MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Senior Registered Nurse for Pre-Op Services to join a premier healthcare team near Redondo Beach, CA!

Key Responsibilities for the Pre-Op Senior Registered Nurse:

  • Provide expert nursing care to patients in the pre-operative phase, ensuring a smooth and safe transition to surgery.
  • Coordinate with surgical teams, anesthesia staff, and other healthcare professionals to prepare patients for procedures.
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments, review patient history, and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal surgical readiness.
  • Educate patients and families on pre-op protocols and address questions to promote comfort and understanding.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all hospital and regulatory policies.
  • Mentor and support junior nursing staff in clinical practice and professional development.

Schedule:

  • Full-Time, Day Shifts
  • Monday–Friday with potential weekend or on-call hours as needed.

Pre-Op Senior Registered Nurse Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in pre-op, PACU, or surgical settings.
