Who are you?

You are an expert Senior Field Analyst with a minimum of 6+ years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.

Job Description

As a Senior Field Analyst you will be involved in:

Field Data Capture & Verification

  • Use digital tools and mobile applications to input, verify, and maintain accurate construction progress data across key disciplines within the project.
  • Validate quantity installation data, project field delivery reporting, for accuracy and compliance.
  • Verify construction progress against approved plans, work packages, and schedule baselines.

Performance Monitoring & Analysis

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, schedule adherence, cost drivers, and field resource utilization.
  • Identify trends, variances, and emerging issues through analysis of field performance data.
  • Analyze geographic progress for linear pipeline construction and highlight risks such as location conflicts or sequencing inefficiencies.

Reporting & Communication

  • Produce weekly and monthly consolidated field performance reports for leadership teams
  • Maintain logs of field activities, issues, risks, changes, and resolutions with traceability to control accounts and work packages.
  • Support daily progress validation and provide insights for forecasting, risk review, and change assessment.

Systems & Digital Tools

  • Utilize PMC-provided IT applications for field reporting, construction management, and data integration with Primavera P6, Oracle, PowerBI, and SharePoint.
  • Support data synchronization between field systems and project controls systems (schedule, cost, and risk).
  • Ensure data is complete and archived to Data Lakehouse per project requirements.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with field supervisors, inspectors, contractors, and project controls staff across all project locations.
  • Participate in field walks, contractor coordination meetings, and project progress reviews.
  • Provide recommendations to project leadership related to field trends, risks, and productivity performance.
Qualifications
  • 3–6 years of experience supporting industrial construction projects (pipeline experience strongly preferred).
  • Candidate experience will determine placement as Analyst or Lead.
  • Experience with construction progress tracking, project delivery verification in various contract delivery methods, or project controls functions with linear construction, spreads, and/or right‑of‑way work
  • Proficiency with digital field data capture tools and reporting systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and exposure to PowerBI are considered an asset.
