Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Senior Revenue Cycle Integration Coordinator, the Revenue Cycle Integration Specialist will coordinate, support, and work directly on the revenue cycle activities related to onboarding and ongoing support of Revenue Cycle Operations for outpatient ancillary and ambulatory sites. Works closely with the Business Office, Patient Access, Physician Practice Leadership, and Clinical Leadership to coordinate and integrate front office workflow and activities. One performing in this position is expected to have demonstrated a history of a high level of ability to function successfully in an autonomous role, require minimal supervisory oversight in the performance of job functions, have a demonstrated strong ability to lead groups of fellow team members in project management roles, and holds himself/herself to high level of personal accountability for job performance.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:Associates degree from a nationally accredited school PLUS six (6) years of Healthcare revenue cycle leadership experience in area relevant to assigned area (Patient Access, Business Office, or Physician Practice)

**OR**

Bachelor's degree from a nationally accredited university PLUS four (4) years of Healthcare revenue cycle leadership experience in area relevant to assigned area (Patient Access, Business Office,or Physician Practice)

Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; must score in high range on pre-screening communication skills aptitude assessment. Minimum score of 71%

Demonstrated and highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Word, Excel, and Outlook) or equivalent;

must score in high range on pre-screening MS Office skills aptitude assessment - minimum score of 71%

PREFERRED:1. Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Education, or related field 

2. Healthcare revenue cycle leadership experience in area relevant to assigned area (Patient Access, Business Office, or Physician Practice) 

3. CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate) or CPAR (Certified Patient Access Representative)

4. Working knowledge of SQL

5. Working knowledge of HL7

6. Evidence of the ability to work well with others - a team player

7. Ability to organize and implement various programs

Local travel between hospital locations is required for hospital rounding, acquisitions, mergers, etc.
