As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be embedded within one of our Product Areas, taking ownership of specific responsibility domains where your experience, interests, and growth potential align best. You will work closely with engineers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure reliability, performance, and automation for both newly onboarded and long-running clients on the SimCorp SaaS offering.

Your contributions will drive stability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence in our Azure-based environments while supporting SimCorp's transformation into a cloud-native SaaS provider. This role blends active engineering, incident response, platform configuration, and service quality, - guided by ITIL and SRE best practices.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Support the operation and enhancement of mission-critical environments for both new and existing clients

Align client requirements to platform capabilities; contribute to platform evolution

Support build, application maintenance, and scaling of incubated products(e.g., Qlik, Tosca, BI, SQL Developer, Python/Java solutions)

Operate Qlik deployment pipelines; align outputs with customer requirements and replicate environments where needed

Manage infrastructure deployment pipelines and troubleshoot onboarding and operational issues

Schedule, optimize, and transition batch jobs to event-driven patterns using enterprise schedulers

Configure and support third-party software in client environments

Contribute to incident, problem, and change management processes

Execute disaster recovery, configuration management, and infrastructure readiness tasks

Keeping oversight and coordinating routine maintenance, deployments, refreshes, rollbacks, and release Application Upgrades

Provide weekend or on-call support as needed

Collaborate in Agile teams and take part in design discussions with clients, vendors, and stakeholders

Contribute to knowledge sharing within the Product Area

Leverage a solid foundation in ITIL practices, including problem, change, and incident management

WHAT WE VALUE

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's is a plus)

3-5+ years in Site Reliability, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles

Expertise with Microsoft Azure; AWS exposure is helpful

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Ansible

Hands-on experience in monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana)

Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension is a strong plus

Experience managing both onboarding projects and live production operations

Understanding of networking, virtualization, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)

Comfort with Linux and Windows systems, APIs, scripting (PowerShell, Bash), and SQL

Collaborative mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams

Interest in continuous learning and growth within your Product Area

For Toronto only: The salary range for this position is $99,840 to 137,280 CAD. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off and Group RRSP/TFSA.
