Position Overview
The Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality and performance by investigating failures, identifying root causes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth failure analyses to determine root causes and contributing factors of product issues.
  • Analyze trends in reported failures and complaints to identify recurring problems and opportunities for improvement.
  • Categorize and prioritize customer complaints to ensure timely and effective investigations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, manufacturing, and engineering, to gather data and insights for thorough analysis.
  • Partner with product owners and design teams to implement reliability improvements and prevent future failures.
  • Communicate investigation findings, corrective actions, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and customers.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, align on priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement strategies.
Must Have
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct in-depth root cause analysis using log data in complex robotic systems.
  • Passion for continuous improvement in process, troubleshooting techniques, and root cause investigation methodology, such as "cause map."
  • Experience with integrating hardware and software in complex robotic systems.
  • Experience with data analysis and trend identification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead or work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Education and Experience
  • Education Required: BS in engineering (EE, ME, CS, Bio).
  • Years'Experience Required: 2 for Level II, 4 for Senior.
