The Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management provides executive leadership for the organization’s end-to-end revenue cycle, driving financial performance, cash flow, revenue integrity, operational efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute enterprisewide RCM strategy aligned with financial and operational goals.
  • Oversee all RCM functions and establish performance standards, accountability, and scalable processes.
  • Improve cash collections, A/R performance, net revenue realization, and overall revenue cycle efficiency.
  • Lead denial prevention and management, revenue integrity, coding accuracy, charge capture, and reduction of revenue leakage.
  • Identify and resolve upstream operational and clinical issues affecting reimbursement.
  • Use analytics to identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead RCM technology, automation, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build, lead, and develop highperforming RCM teams and establish appropriate organizational structures and staffing models.
  • Oversee outsourced RCM vendors and thirdparty partners, including service levels, performance, quality, and financial outcomes.
  • Partner with Finance, IT, Compliance, Legal, Clinical, and Operational leadership to drive enterprisewide performance improvement.
  • Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive healthcare RCM experience with significant leadership responsibility.
  • Proven success leading enterpriselevel RCM transformation and performance improvement.
  • Strong expertise in billing, coding, A/R, denials, collections, revenue integrity, and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve cash flow, reduce A/R and denials, and identify revenue leakage.
  • Experience leading RCM for multisite or rapidly growing healthcare organizations.
  • Experience implementing automation, analytics, and technologyenabled RCM improvements.
