Senior Quality Engineer – Direct Hire
Location: Waukesha, WI
Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

First Call Direct Hire is recruiting for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer for a well-established manufacturer in the Waukesha, WI area. This position is ideal for a quality professional with experience in electrical, electronics, electromechanical, power distribution, industrial controls, or a related manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Support quality initiatives throughout manufacturing and new product introduction.
  • Lead and participate in APQP, PPAP, FMEA/PFMEA, and other advanced quality activities.
  • Investigate quality issues and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures, documentation, and control processes.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Support product and process testing and ensure established testing procedures and protocols are followed.
  • Monitor manufacturing quality and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure products and processes meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • At least 2 years of Quality Engineering or relevant Manufacturing Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, and FMEA/PFMEA.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality compliance.
  • Experience working with manufacturing processes and quality systems.
  • Electrical/electronics manufacturing or electrical testing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
