Job description

***THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN BOSTON, MA AREA***
This position is part of the LM Aeronautics (Aero) Supplier Quality Management (SQM) East Commodity Team, within the Aero Quality & Mission Success organization.
The selected candidate will perform product acceptance and supplier performance management at supplier sites on behalf of all LM Aero programs.
This position is located in the Boston, Massachusetts area with travel to other cities in New England and
other states. Travel to assigned suppliers and performing work onsite at their facilities is required.
Goals are to lead suppliers through the process of developing and executing plans that ensure long-term flow of defect-free products in support of LM Aero production.
Scope includes suppliers of the air vehicle and missions systems commodities, including supplier design-authority, airframe (build-to-print) suppliers, and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) contracts.
The selected candidate will be accountable for collaborating with functional organizations and executive leadership at the supplier sites and at LM Aero to solve quality, technical, and contractual issues, and for ensuring supplier performance is aligned with achieving quality, delivery, and affordability goals set by the LM Aero programs.
