POSITION SUMMARY

Supports quality operations by performing inspections, maintaining quality records, and assisting with non-conformance documentation and supplier quality activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished parts
  • Record inspection results in quality records and ERP system
  • Identify and tag non-conforming material and initiate NCR documentation
  • Assist with first article inspections (FAI) and qualification testing
  • Support internal and customer quality audits
  • Maintain calibrated measuring equipment and calibration records
  • Assist Quality Manager with data entry, reporting, and filing
Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years inspection or quality control experience in manufacturing
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree in Quality Technology
  • CMM operation experience
  • AWS CWI or equivalent welding inspection training

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Office and manufacturing floor environment. Frequent standing and use of measuring equipment.
