Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team. In this lead role, you will work closely with ownership, managers and the bookkeeping department. Accounting department to maintain accurate financial records. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Financial Reports  ( Trial Balance, Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss ). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Property Accountant , you will be responsible for a broad spectrum of financial and accounting matters affecting our commercial properties. Key duties include but not limited to:
  • Enter financial data and transactions
  • Accounts Receivable 
  • Accounts Payable
  • Monthly Tenant Posting/Billing
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Financials
  • Florida Sales Tax Liability
  • Investor Distribution and ROC
  • Budgets
  • CAM Charges and Reconciliations
  • Annual Property Income Tax Preparation for Accountant
  • Complete required tax forms
  • Various other duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred
  • Experience using Rent Manager or similar software preferred
  • Must have at least 3 years experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
  • Be able to multi-task
