Job description

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking a Sr Project Sales Accelerator for our Paper division, aligned to a key corporate account to lead our efforts to develop, deploy, and optimize process chemical applications and digital technologies.

The Sr Project Sales Accelerator's main responsibilities will be to drive the right actions and priorities in each mill location where we have competitive, innovative, and digital opportunities to win and grow business. This team member will be focused on gaining trials and converting trials into pumping new/won business. They will need a strong background in Nalco product applications, sales experience, organizational skill set, computer skills/data management, ability to gain instant credibility, good in relating at all levels, and execution will be imperative.

This is a remote role, with someone ideally being located in the Southern part of the US near a major airport

What You Will Do:

  • Drive the right actions and priorities in each mill location where we have competitive, innovative, and digital opportunities to win and grow business
  • Partner with corporate account managers (CAMs) and field team(s) to reduce / eliminate business at risk
  • Coordinate with CAM team at mills with urgent / prioritized needs
  • Streamline assessment of opportunity potential - direct locally or schedule in resources to accomplish
  • Provide summary of proposal and value calculations for opportunities
  • Partner with CAMs and local teams to lead and/or support sales process from inception to close
  • Partner with CAMs and local teams to gain customer discovery agreement on trial date and success criteria
  • Help define and insure KPIs and success criteria are documented and agreed to by both Nalco and customer decision makers
  • Review and/or propose service plan / program management
  • Assign internal responsibilities for tasks, align with customer on their responsibilities for success
  • Align technical application resources (ITCs, Equipment, Regulatory, Analytical, etc.)
  • Provide step-by-step overview and updates of Nalco's transition / conversion process to mill management / influencers / decision makers
  • Partner with CAM team to collaborate on growth opportunities, projects, and drive innovation with customer's procurement, Operations, and technical groups
  • Manage opportunities - review and align with CAM(s) on sales progress reporting
  • Develop cadence with all customer sites (utilize monthly CAM/field calls as vehicle) to leverage roles and responsibilities, and drive sales growth
  • Partner with CAM Lead on required additional internal reporting needs for Nalco Sr/Exec leadership

Position Details:

  • This position is remote.However, someone located in the Southern part of the US would be ideal.
  • Territory covers mills across US.
  • Targeted accounts in the Paper Industry
  • 50% or more overnight travel required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6 years of project management engineering experience within a customer-facing environment.
  • Commutable to the mills
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $107,600.00 - $161,500.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
