Title: E-Commerce Project Manager II

Location: New York, NY 1001 (Hybrid)

Contract: 04+ months


Overview:

The E-commerce Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth process of Global E-commerce operations including liaising with internal marketing and creative teams. The candidate should have previous experience or show particular interest in e-Commerce business and digital design. The ability to multi-task, be highly organized with avid attention to detail is a must.

Specific Requirements

  • 3+ yearsโ€™ experience in e-commerce focused on driving sales and growth with measurable results with a full understanding of the consumer journey. Corporate experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related fields
  • Experience working with Global markets and APAC a plus
  • Understanding of current e-Commerce trends, strategies, and techniques
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritization skills along with the ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Strong organizations skills required
  • Attention to detail a must


Notes:

  • Supporting Site Experience Team and Site Content Team
  • Site Experience is a team of 4 people โ€“ the site is technically focused and create and manage all the platform features and also does some creative (landing pages of content) โ€“ will be very important to be super detail-oriented, especially when taking notes/minutes (very important), requests and feedback from meetings are very specific and this person will need to be able to speak to these points when going through briefs and assets with the team and ensure that they are all addressed and captured in the work โ€“ this person will also make sure that when the team has assets, the PM will check against the brief โ€“ knowing ecomm is key/crucial, cross-functional communication, strong collaborative personality
  • Site Content team is a team of 3 people โ€“ this team essentially works with the creative and cross-functional partners to briefing content assets โ€“ this PM would need to be comfortable doing a role that is deeply detailed and organized โ€“ someone a little more tenured, not junior โ€“โ€“ this person would work closely with the team and be part of all meetings โ€“ this personโ€™s major function would be to bridge the gap between site experience and site content โ€“ be the listening ear on both sides and be vocal with sharp communication skills โ€“ ensure both teams are on the same page, push back on timelines, manage deliverables, managing a weekly project tracker, owning timelines, fully aware of end to end process from brief inception to delivery and QA โ€“ responsible for all meeting minutes and sending immediately after every call
  • Need to know the landscape, doesnโ€™t have to be beauty necessarily but having that digital knowledge and experience is crucial.
  • Strong prioritization skills
  • Soft skills are incredibly important โ€“ team player, cross-collaboration, attention to detail, time management, incredibly organized
  • Strong PM skillset โ€“ exceptional ability to streamline the work
  • Someone who really loves and wants to be a true PM โ€“ not looking for someone who would use this role to get a โ€œfoot in the doorโ€ looking for a tried-and-true PM that truly loves the PM space.


Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own and manage the full Product Detail Page process with cross functional partners
  • Primary point person for all market requests
  • Manage & update the global animation calendar
  • Responsible for asset adoption tracking
  • Ownership of site audits for all global markets
  • Responsible for digital PIM/DAM Management
  • Responsible for the quality assurance of each animation package prior to final release to the markets
  • Always on market and competitive research
  • Animation Campaign Management: Develop a detailed project plan and monitor progress, manage cross-functional review process, QA delivery, Market release management
  • Partner closely with the Technical PM to ensure the brand layer master site is up to date for market reference and all assets are created to the correct sizes and specifications required
  • Lead the organization and logistics of Kiehlโ€™s Annual Global Digital Forum
