Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of complex, multi‑year utility projects to support local substation growth. This role will oversee a suite of high‑impact initiatives including BPS separation, relay replacements, breaker replacements, and transformer replacements.

The ideal candidate has a proven ability to manage large‑scale, technically challenging projects and drive successful outcomes across multiple workstreams. This is a high‑visibility role offering long‑term program ownership and the opportunity to shape critical infrastructure improvements.

We are seeking candidates local to the Connecticut and Massachusetts area

As a Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Your day will involve developing comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines. You’ll allocate and coordinate resources, including engineers, technicians, equipment, and materials, to keep the project on track.

You’ll provide technical guidance and expertise to our engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Establishing strong communication channels with clients will be key, as you’ll need to understand their requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns. Additionally, you’ll monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure we stay within financial targets

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
    • Previous experience in electrical engineering, project management, or a related role
    • Experience with electrical utilities, electrical system design, installation, and maintenance projects
    • Substation experience required
    • 10 years experience or greater or 5 years’ experience plus PMP
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    • This position pays between $120,000 and $150,000 annually and is an exempt position.
