You will be the lead Program Manager. The scope of this position includes leadership of a cross functional Defense Valves Product Line (Programs/Contract Administrators, Project Engineers, QA Engineers, Planners, Buyers, Production Control), Profit and Loss accountability, new business generation, proposal generation (leading Bid / No Bid activities), booking orders, overseeing negotiations, and overseeing operation activities to ensure customer satisfaction for the site's single largest customer.**Location: East Farmingdale, NY****Salary/hourly rate: $144,100 to $175,000***Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in New York. Report potential problems to upper management.* Apprise senior management of all concerns noted in the course of performing daily activities.**What You Bring*** US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance* Five (5) years’ experience in Program Management and familiarity with Technical/Engineering specifications and procedures.* Excellent communication and writing skills.* Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and manage detailed program budgets* Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems and Risk Management* Strong financial acumen and experience reporting financials to senior management* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures for a high complexity product line* Prior engineering/operations experience with current experience in program management* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions* Strong customer relationship experience* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to diverse internal and external audiences* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus* P/C computer skills, with excellence in MS Office including MS Project.
