Step into a pivotal role as Sr. Procurement Specialist - Global Brands, where you'll drive sourcing initiatives that shape the future of Deckers' global operations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize costs, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance, all while delivering value and innovation to our brands. Your expertise will help us stay ahead of industry trends and create lasting impact across our global footprint.

Your Impact

  • Manage and own global/North America retail operations projects, planning, executing, and reporting competitive bidding to generate value in cost, quality, and service
  • Collaborate with Global Procurement leadership to implement standardized processes and align strategies with key stakeholders
  • Gather and translate business requirements into clear, comprehensive RFP documents
  • Identify potential suppliers and conduct vendor comparison research
  • Coordinate all aspects of the competitive bidding process, including communication, timeline management, cost comparisons, and contract reviews
  • Perform complex data analysis, compile recommendations, and drive alignment around best value options
  • Lead or assist negotiations with vendors to optimize benefits and maximize value
  • Support or lead contract review processes with internal and external partners
  • Stay informed on supply and industry trends to ensure Deckers achieves the best value
  • Manage reporting projects to identify cost optimization opportunities and track value achieved
  • Optimize contract management processes to support procurement strategies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan for future initiatives and achieve business goals
  • Maintain project documentation and assist with reporting and data analytics
  • Manage procurement project workflow tools

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of procurement project management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong understanding of Procure to Pay processes
  • Experience working in complex global organizations and managing diverse stakeholder needs
  • High level of integrity, dependability, and ability to operate with minimal oversight
  • Motivated self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Skilled at multi-tasking and managing a large volume of relationships and projects
  • Strong interpersonal, influence, and decision-making skills
  • Expertise in negotiation, analytical, problem solving, organization, and project management
  • Experience in contract management, including creation, audit, and review
  • Ability to lead procurement projects and translate business needs into actionable requirements
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive recommendations
  • Experience in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Marketing, Public Relations, Events, Travel, and Retail preferred
  • Experience in Retail Procurement
