Job description


Duties:
The Senior Program Manager owns the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programs from initiation through closure. This role partners closely with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget -while driving continuous process improvement across the program management function.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of multiple concurrent programs and projects, from planning through execution and post-launch review
  • Maintain and administer all project tasks, schedules, and associated project management tools and software;ensure data integrity across all tracking systems
  • Build and publish program status reports, executive dashboards, and milestone trackers on a regular cadence for stakeholder and leadership audiences
  • Monitor project activities, performance metrics, and budget burn;proactively identify risks and drive mitigation plans
  • Ensure all project team members are aligned to schedules, deliverables, and compliance requirements;facilitate cross-functional coordination and issue resolution
  • Compile and analyze project data to support decision-making;perform research and produce required documentation on request
  • Develop and maintain high-quality visual artifacts including charts, graphs, Gantt charts, and roadmaps to communicate program status
  • Define and enforce program governance standards, intake processes, and reporting frameworks across the organization
  • Identify and drive process improvements within the program management practice
  • Preference for a candidate in Central or Eastern time zone

Skills:
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project planning and scheduling skills;proficiency with tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, or equivalent
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.G., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting and executive presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;ability to translate complex program status into clear stakeholder narratives
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;comfortable working with cost, resource, and performance data
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across cross-functional teams
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification strongly preferred
  • PgMP (Program Management Professional), CSM, or SAFe certification a plus
  • 7+ years of program or project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity
