At Turtle Rock, UI/UX is a high-value driver of major features in our games, not just a support function. As a Senior UI Producer, you're the production hub of all things UX and UI. You are not only the day-to-day planner, runner, and advocate of a cross-functional UI team of designers, engineers, and artists, you are also a key driver in building UI-led features across the wider team.
Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of high level initiatives and work with all departments to complete goals.
  • Own and maintain the UI roadmap and the UI backlog, ensuring progress or changes are communicated across various channels.
  • In partnership with the UI Design, Art, and Engineering Leads, conduct milestone planning, task and bug prioritizations to ensure the team is working on the right things at the right time.
  • Work with other Producers to plan and schedule work across teams for features led and supported by UI.
  • Work with UI leads and team to create estimated tasks for work and follow the work through its lifecycle, unblocking as needed along the way.
  • Manage change requests, both at the stakeholder and team level. Negotiate compromises and propose solutions to get the project's needs met.
  • Keep stakeholders apprised of feature production status (leading regular feature review meetings, weekly team syncs, stakeholder syncs).
  • Maintain and improve team processes (kick-offs, planning, stand ups, triages) to ensure work is asked for, created, and completed in a predictable manner.
  • Maintain and improve feature pipeline and team workflows.
  • Proactively identify production problems, establish facts, and propose solutions.
  • Ensure meetings are productive, noted, and that actions captured are followed up on.
  • Be the reliable, stable source of information, support, and engagement that our team counts on to thrive.
  • Playtest with the studio and UI team to iterate based on playtest feedback and player experience.
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in the games industry
  • At least 2 years working with larger teams in a cross-functional feature production capacity
  • Expert with Jira (Jira Plans experience a plus), Confluence, the Google suite
  • Expert project management skills: resource management, time management
  • Warm and supportive verbal/written communication skills, even under pressure
  • Proficient at multitasking and managing competing priorities
  • Effectively communicate risks and obstacles to both team members and stakeholders
Preferences
  • Shipped at least 1 AAA title
  • Experience working with teams with timezone deltas of 3 hours +/-
  • Strong passion for playing games
  • Experience working with contract/outsourcing partners
  • Experience managing feedback from test and focus groups

The estimated base pay range for this role is: $115,000 - $150,000 USD
