Are you an experienced Municipal Engineer looking to progress your career? We're looking for a Senior Municipal Engineer to join our growing team. You're an ideal candidate if:

You'rea collaborative and detail-oriented Civil Engineer who enjoys tackling complex infrastructure challenges and seeing projects come to life. You take initiative, communicate effectively, and thrive in a team environment where you can balance technical design with hands-on project delivery.


A typical day on the job might look like:

  • Supporting all GEMTEC locations across Atlantic Canada, including travelling as needed.
  • Preparing engineering drawings, technical reports,specifications, and tender documents.
  • Collaboratingwithmultidisciplinary teams to develop practical, cost-effective design solutions.
  • Reviewing drawings and designs to ensure accuracy,complianceand constructability.
  • Supporting construction administration activities, including siteinspectionsand responding tocontractor'sinquiries.
  • Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce and review detailed civil design plans.
  • Communicating with clients, municipalities, and other stakeholders to keep projects on track and aligned with expectations.
  • Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff as needed.
  • Office-based design/project management with Site Visits to projects asrequired.

Your background and what you bring:

  • Registered or eligible for registration with APEGNB.
  • Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering from an accredited University.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering consulting, including municipal and infrastructure design.
  • Proven experience in project management, including budget, schedule, and client coordination.
  • Proficiencyin AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle for work related travel
