About the Role
The Senior Principal Solutions Architect will be responsible for identifying and closing new account opportunities in addition to managing customer relationships. The Senior Principal Solutions Architect will serve as an evangelist to enhance customer awareness of ZT's core competencies and capabilities including global services, managed services, cloud, and data center services. With ZTs strategic direction driving their objectives, the Senior Principal Solutions Architect will develop customer and segment acquisition strategies to grow ZTs overall portfolio and bottom line. The Senior Principal Solutions Architect will also provide valuable insights and recommendations to support their client's strategic initiatives. The goal of the Senior Principal Solutions Architect is to establish a pipeline of prospects and convert healthy opportunities into long term strategic customer relationships.
What You Will Do
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, ecosystem partners, and others to understand roadmaps, offerings, technologies, incentives, and areas of joint opportunities
  • Responsible for performing all aspects of Business Development
  • Conduct client presentations, estimation efforts, proposals, and negotiations
  • Responsible for driving revenues and go-to-market strategies identified as a good fit for their account portfolio
  • Work closely with the Solutions Architect to build customized solutions pitches for the target account
  • Conduct industry research and competitor analysis
  • Build and manage account plan for targeted accounts
  • Build and manage a segment plan for designated technologies

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in server or a related industry
  • Strong knowledge of data center technologies, future trends, and direction, including hyperscale industry competitors
  • Strong industry and customer relationships. Able to impact pipeline from day one
  • Knowledge of end-to-end managed Infrastructure Services go-to-market solutions a plus
  • Experience with global delivery organizational selling and support processes a strong plus
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
  • Solid business, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong skills in hands-on execution and project management
  • Must have a pragmatic, hands-on style, and the ability to think outside the box
  • Strong planning and priority-setting abilities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and influencing skills
  • Experienced at managing and delivering on time with multiple concurrent priorities
  • Must have the ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, and demanding environment.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with both internal partners and external clients
