Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The senior paid search manager is the go-to to execute search campaigns. They are a reliable source on the day to day campaign planning, execution, and analysis of client needs. They are an engineer of the media team process with a voice to always make it more efficient. This position is vital to the media team from an execution standpoint, but it is also the position that you start to hone strategic skills that will become vital to more senior positions
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitor campaign pacing and delivery and Day to Day communication with internal staff
  • Develop creative, innovative approaches to strategically reach target audiences and hit success metrics
  • Assess media performance to determine whether campaign is meeting objectives
  • Help manage vendor relationships and ongoing optimizations across various clients
  • Manage flow of client media related issues by creating solutions and resolving problems

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Management
  • Works with senior media manager and biddable media director to craft paid search strategy for expansion and upsells
  • Creates and executes paid search campaigns for assigned clients
  • Effectively manages paid search channels and various campaign strategies/targeting
  • Oversees the execution and optimization of paid search campaigns with aggressive back end goals
  • Understands multi-channel optimization best practices and articulates knowledge and client deliverables effectively
  • Responsible for execution and final QA of approved plan across search platforms, including all campaign components prior to launch (campaign, ad group, keyword, settings, locations, ad copy)
  • Effectively creates and delivers client presentations and provides thought leadership to clients
  • Works with Reporting team to craft insightful, meaningful reports and presents important reporting to client including monthly wrap ups, QBRs, on-site client strategy sessions
  • Effectively test keywords, bids, and settings to stay ahead of new opportunities
  • Development and recommendation of optimizations and/or testing plans
  • Responsible for recommending campaign adjustments based on performance trends
  • Responsible for campaign reporting and developing clear insights with strategic actionable next steps

Team Leadership & Development
  • Embraces and encourages a culture based on team work, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity
  • Adopts stated media management standards and biddable media management best practices
  • Works closely with senior media manager and biddable media director for on-going leadership training
  • Collaborates with paid media leaders across disciplines and other departments to share insights, POVs, and advance Fusion92's global paid media offering

Process Improvement
  • Assists in the development and documentation of paid search best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the team and the group
  • Interfaces with other department leads to share ideas, communicate service offerings, and to identify and deliver new solutions for clients
  • Keeps management apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of the business
  • Commands data analysis of key paid search metrics to identify, recommend and implement changes for increasing the performance of client programs

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1.5+ years of paid search media experience (Execution & day to day management)
  • Master of paid search platforms with Google, Bing, and Yahoo includes a solid understanding of each engine's core features, as well as a technical understanding of each engine's advertising capabilities
  • Have a passion for media and to stay in the loop on the latest paid search trends, capabilities and platforms
  • Experience using DoubleClick (ad-server) for tracking purposes, experience using Doubleclick Search on paid search channels a plus
  • Have strong self-management and organizational skills being able to manage multiple projects at once utilizing internal tools
  • Experience handling marketing budgets and developing insights based on campaign results
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and assertive, with strong analytical and deductive skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for effective client relations
  • Team player - dependable, respectful, and communicative
  • Fun & positive attitude
