Senior Microsoft/SharePoint Developer
Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid)
Terms: Full-time
Salary Range: $120-$140k DOE

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Microsoft/SharePoint Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, modernizing, and architecting enterprise Microsoft-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SharePoint Online/On-Premises, Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 CRM, Azure Cloud, Power BI Reporting, and custom .NET application development.
This role will lead the modernization, integration, and implementation of both internal business applications and external-facing customer portals, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies and emerging AI-powered solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
Solutioning & Cloud Modernization
  • Design enterprise-scale Microsoft technology solutions leveraging Azure Cloud Services.
  • Lead modernization initiatives, migrating legacy applications to cloud-native and hybrid Azure environments.
  • Design scalable, secure, highly available, and resilient solutions aligned with Microsoft best practices and cloud governance standards.
  • Define enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and technical roadmaps.
  • Develop integration architectures connecting SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure services, third-party systems, and custom applications.
SharePoint Development
  • Implement enterprise-level SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server solutions.
  • Develop custom SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solutions using React and TypeScript.
  • Design and develop:
    • Intranets
    • Extranets
    • Collaboration portals
    • Document management systems
    • Knowledge management platforms
    • Business process automation solutions
  • Implement SharePoint governance, security, compliance, and records management strategies.
  • Migrate and modernize legacy SharePoint environments.

    • Power Virtual Agents
  • Build enterprise workflow automation and low-code/no-code solutions.
  • Integrate Power Platform with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure services, and external APIs.
  • Establish governance and Center of Excellence (CoE) frameworks.
Dynamics 365 CRM Development
  • Design, configure, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
  • Develop custom entities, forms, workflows, plugins, business rules, and integrations.
  • Implement customer engagement, case management, service management, and workflow processes.
  • Design integrations with enterprise systems using Azure Integration Services.
Power BI & Analytics
  • Design and develop enterprise dashboards, analytics, and reporting solutions.

Artificial Intelligence & Microsoft AI Solutions
  • Design and implement AI-powered solutions utilizing:
    • Microsoft Copilot Studio
    • Azure OpenAI Services
    • Azure AI Foundry
    • Microsoft Fabric AI capabilities
    • Azure Cognitive Services
    • AI Search (Azure AI Search)
  • Develop intelligent document processing and content management solutions.
  • Build Conversational AI and enterprise assistants integrated with SharePoint and Dynamics 365.
  • Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures leveraging Microsoft technologies.

Required Qualifications
Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience designing and developing Microsoft-based enterprise solutions.
  • 10+ years of SharePoint development experience.
  • 8+ years of Azure Cloud experience.
  • 5+ years of Power Platform development experience.
  • 5+ years of Dynamics 365 CRM development and customization experience.
  • 5+ years of Power BI development and enterprise reporting experience.
  • Extensive experience leading modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of security, privacy, compliance, and governance frameworks.
