Job description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Analytics & Agentic Activation team. In this role, you will design, build, and scale AI agents and analytics solutions that turn manual or semi-structured business workflows into governed, business-ready automations. You will work across the Microsoft ecosystem (including Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power BI), Snowflake, and modern BI platforms to help clients unlock value from generative AI and data. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT, data, and security teams to deliver high-quality solutions and advance phData's delivery excellence.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Delivery
  • Own and drive the design, build, and deployment of AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio for high-impact enterprise workflows and business roles.
  • Translate manual or semi-structured business workflows into autonomous agents using low-code/no-code tools within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Implement agentic behaviors, including planning, tool use, contextual memory, and reflection, to deliver intelligent task execution and measurable automation outcomes.
  • Integrate Copilot solutions with enterprise systems such as Power BI, SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams to embed AI into day-to-day work.
  • Develop and iterate on prompt templates, AI guardrails, fallback strategies, and continuous feedback loops to improve agent performance over time.
  • Ensure engagements are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business value for clients.
Collaboration & Leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including business stakeholders, IT, data, analytics, and security teams, to deliver successful client engagements.
  • Provide technical and strategic leadership during automation and AI discovery sessions, process mapping workshops, design reviews, and project delivery.
  • Ensure high quality in deliverables through rigorous testing, documentation, governance, and adherence to security and compliance best practices.
  • Partner with practice and account leaders to identify opportunities to expand Copilot and AI agent use cases, improve delivery patterns, and standardize reusable solutions.
Practice & Firm Contribution
  • Contribute to internal initiatives such as IP development, accelerators, templates, playbooks, and training related to Copilot, AI agents, and analytics.
  • Help develop and refine best practices for prompt engineering, agent lifecycle management, and responsible AI within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Support internal enablement efforts that empower business users and analysts to create and maintain their own business process solutions with technology.
  • Represent phData with professionalism in all interactions, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, shaping AI and automation roadmaps, influencing strategic decisions, and guiding long-term initiatives as clients experiment with Copilot and agentic workflows across multiple functions.
  • Mentor and coach team members and client users, fostering a culture of learning, feedback, and continuous improvement in AI agent and analytics practices.
  • Help define and refine practice standards, reusable assets, delivery frameworks, and enablement programs (e.g., playbooks, training, office hours) to support scaled adoption of Copilot agents and AI workflows.

About You

You are a client-focused consultant and problem solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven environment. You are passionate about using AI, analytics, and automation to streamline business processes and empower business users. You are comfortable operating in distributed, global teams and partnering with colleagues and stakeholders across time zones.

Required QualificationsExperience
  • 3-6 years of experience in enterprise automation, digital transformation, or AI-enabled consulting.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including advanced DAX, Power Query, and enterprise-scale data modeling and visualization.

Technical / Functional Skills

  • Direct experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or similar low-code AI platforms (e.g., Glean, AgentForce, Amazon Q Business, OpenAI Agent Builder).
  • Strong Power BI skills, including data modeling, report design, and data visualization best practices.
  • Solid understanding of semantic layers, identity and access management, and Microsoft 365 security and compliance boundaries.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, iterative design cycles, and user testing for AI workflows.
  • Exposure to Power Platform, Azure OpenAI, n8n, or broader AI orchestration tools.
  • Experience with modern data and analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Tableau, Sigma, Alteryx, KNIME, and/or AWS.
Consulting / Delivery Skills
  • Experience delivering projects for external or internal clients in a professional services or consulting environment, ideally focused on analytics, automation, or AI.
  • Experience facilitating automation/AI discovery and prioritization sessions (process mapping, value sizing, ROI modeling) with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to break down complex problems into structured, actionable steps and drive them through to completion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to translate between business and technical audiences.
Collaboration & Ownership
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with distributed and cross-functional teams, including business, IT, data, and security stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership, managing multiple priorities, and delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision.
  • Passion for enabling business users to develop their own business process solutions with technology.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications help candidates stand out but are not required for success in this role.

  • Experience in scaling Power BI and analytics solutions at an enterprise level.
  • Hands-on experience designing and supporting change management and enablement programs (playbooks, training, office hours) to help business users adopt Copilot agents and AI workflows at scale.
  • Experience leading teams of consultants and contributing to performance, utilization, and high-quality project delivery.
  • Experience operating in early-stage, ambiguous environments where clients are experimenting with Copilot and agentic workflows across multiple functions.
  • Hands-on experience with additional tools such as Tableau, Sigma, Alteryx, KNIME, or AWS.
  • Prior experience working in global or remote teams and partnering across US, LATAM, and/or India.
  • Contributions to open source, professional communities, speaking, writing, or internal accelerators are a plus.

  • We are a remote-first company, and you should be comfortable working with a distributed global team.
  • Some flexibility may be required to collaborate across time zones with colleagues and clients.
