What You'll Do:
As a Resident Assistant, you will provide supportive care to residents as outlined in individualized service plans and contribute to a holistic living experience through health services, engagement activities, and daily support. You will collaborate with our care team to observe, report, and assist with resident needs, while ensuring a dignified and compassionate approach at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
  • Support simple medical treatments and emotional well-being as per service plans.
  • Observe and report health or behavioral changes to Charge Nurse.
  • Participate in dining services including drink service, table bussing, and resident interaction.
  • Lead or assist in daily and group resident activities.
  • Perform light housekeeping such as cleaning public areas and assisting with laundry or pet care.
  • Communicate clearly with the team by maintaining communication logs and reports.

Qualifications:
  • Previous caregiving experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain).
  • Must meet all state/provincial health and safety certification requirements
