Sr. Manager
SR. MANAGER
CLASSIFICATION: FULL-TIME
REPORT TO: HEAD OF DIVISION/ SR. MANAGER
FLSA STATUS: SALARY/EXEMPT
The Senior Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing internal operational functions and client-side project execution for mobile field testing. This position ensures seamless coordination of staffing, resource planning, and service delivery. The role includes supervising field employees, managing relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring policy compliance, and maintaining operational excellence, including test equipment and vehicle logistics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Reporting:
  • Participate in cross-functional leadership meetings and client status calls as needed.
  • Represent the division in meetings with corporate HQ and senior leadership.
  • Submit accurate and timely weekly and monthly project status reports.
  • Respond to internal data or reporting requests from HQ in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Division/Department on strategic and operational initiatives.

2. Workforce & Timesheet Management:
  • Monitor and validate employee work hours and schedule changes.
  • Approve Paid Sick Leave (PSL), vacation, and other leave requests.
  • Coordinate backfill support for employee absences with available onsite resources.
  • Ensure timely collection and submission of client-approved timesheets.

3. Resource & Employee Management:
  • Report staffing changes and status updates to the Head of Division/Department.
  • Oversee onboarding processes including system access, policy training, and I-9 verification.
  • Partner with HR for recruitment, performance management, corrective action, and terminations.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations and provide feedback/coaching throughout the year.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR, payroll, immigration, and general operations.
  • Ensure consistent communication and compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Oversee training and guidance related to the expense reimbursement process in alignment with Finance protocols.

4. Client-Side Project & Field Operations:
  • Assign daily and weekly work tasks based on client direction and project timelines.
  • Coordinate business travel and logistics as required by client scope of work.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for client communications, issue resolution, and service quality.
  • Manage incident response for field escalations, including lost/stolen equipment, vehicle accidents, and test device management.
  • Supervise test vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and compliance with field protocols.
  • Approve and verify employee expense reports in accordance with client agreements and company policies.

Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Experience:
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in staffing operations, workforce management, or client-facing project roles.
  • Experience in mobile field testing, telecom, or high-tech environments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR, payroll, and immigration coordination in a staffing environment.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
The position will work indoors the majority of the time and will be exposed to typical temperature and noise levels maintained in an office environment. Ride along with a driver or drive a vehicle to perform testing and analytics.
You will need to be able to work in a small enclosed space with or without peers as well as work in an open office space alongside your peers.
Physical & Mental Demands:
Possible physical demands of the job may include repetitive motions, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, sitting, pulling, lifting, pushing, carrying, walking, being in static position, long hours in front of computer screen, keyboard & mouse usage. Employees that work in the lab or lab may be subjected to working in tight spaces along with others such as vehicle rides and lab spaces. Some roles may require the individual to be able to lift up to 25 lbs. up to 1/3 of the time during a work day.
Possible mental demands that may be possible but not limited to quick decision making, public speaking, data interpretation, high stress and conflict situations. Ability to multitask without loss of efficiency or accuracy, including the ability to perform multiple duties from multiple sources.
