Join L3Harris at the forefront of mission-critical innovation as the Sr. Manager, Contracts for the Global Spectrum Superiority (GS2) Division within the Spectrum Superiority (S2) Sector. In this highly visible leadership role, you will shape and lead the contracts function for a dynamic global portfolio delivering advanced capabilities that enable information dominance, resilient communications, and operational advantage for customers around the world. This is a unique opportunity to partner across business, program, and functional teams to drive strategy, execution, and compliant growth in one of the company's most impactful mission areas.

This role has responsibility for an international portfolio spanning multiple countries and requires a leader with demonstrated experience managing distributed teams and supporting international and commercial opportunities. The successful candidate will be adept at navigating diverse regulatory environments, customer expectations, cultural dynamics, and business models in support of global growth.

As an essential member of the L3Harris Contracts Team, you will be responsible for a comprehensive suite of functions that ensure the success and integrity of our contract management process.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Serve as the Sr. Manager, Contracts leading the GS2 Division contracts organization across an international portfolio spanning multiple countries, ensuring alignment of contract strategy, execution, and compliance across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Provide contractual leadership for a mix of U.S. government, international government, and commercial opportunities, adapting strategies to varying customer expectations, legal frameworks, and business models.
  • Establish and drive implementation of contract policies, processes, and procedures to ensure achievement of segment and corporate goals.
  • Provide leadership, oversight, direction, and guidance of compliance awareness with contract and regulatory requirements as well as L3Harris policies and procedures.
  • Advise leadership on risks and opportunities associated with international pursuits, commercial terms and conditions, foreign customer requirements, and market-specific contracting practices.
  • Utilize risk management methodologies to assess and minimize risk to the company.
  • Lead team in negotiation preparation and negotiation execution to ensure L3Harris enters strong deals.
  • Participate in initiatives; promote continuous improvement and best in class contracting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing contracts for an international portfolio spanning multiple countries and regions.
  • Significant experience with international and commercial opportunities, including negotiation of non-U.S. government and commercial terms and conditions.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop geographically dispersed teams across multiple time zones, cultures, and business environments.
  • Strong understanding of international contracting considerations, including cross-border business risks, foreign customer requirements, and country-specific regulatory environments.
  • Experience balancing U.S. Government compliance requirements with the flexibility and speed often required in international and commercial markets.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize contract processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
  • Strong communication with parties within and outside of the organization. Works to influence others to accept team's views or practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices, and approaches. Requires ability to communicate and influence leadership regarding matters of substantial importance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.

  • Advanced education within the discipline or an MBA
  • NCMA professional certifications (CPCM, CFCM, etc.)
