Summary

The position can be located in New York or New Jersey.

The Experiential Marketing Specialist is responsible engaging and innovating consumer experiences intended to drive wide-scale awareness for all of Liberty Coca-Cola’s Brands.  Primary responsibilities of the role are to plan and execute sampling & experiential events. The role will work closely with the Sr. Manager- Experiential Marketing. The core functions will include executing brand activations and assisting in consumer marketing strategy. The candidate should be an excellent collaborator and planner, with great attention to detail, as well as hold some experience in executing comprehensive experiential marketing programs.  The candidate will work closely with the sales team, our customers, and brand partners to execute consumer activations. 

Responsibilities
  • Support the development of the overall vision for Liberty Coca-Cola’s Beverage experiential department.
  • Work with Sr. Manager to Identify and leverage customer-specific and channel marketing opportunities that link to brand strategy.
  • Work with sales teams to jointly present major initiatives to customers and constituents.
  • Build relationships with marketing contacts of key customers and constituents.
  • Research and track pop-culture events, music festivals, and build out competitive event trackers
  • Build out and manage a program calendar that incorporates event partnerships, guerilla sampling opportunities, and B2B initiatives to support the growth of brand awareness.
  • Effectively manage a sampling program to ensure each program is on track to hit sampling numbers and program ROI.
Responsibilities Continued
  • Oversee the consumer engagement to ensure the brand’s personality and messaging is being conveyed.
  • Coordinate activities with Brand Partners and external vendors.
  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day logistics for each sampling event.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of event assets and department vehicles.
  • Manage a team of Brand Ambassadors and Marketing Interns. 
  • Coordinate and manage a staff schedule for part time staff/brand ambassadors.
  • Recap and track all sampling activations.
  • Additional responsibilities as they are assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Business, Hospitality, Marketing preferred
  • Minimum experience of 2-4 years in a consumer-packaged goods company or agency with an experiential/ field marketing focus.
  • Previous experience managing an experiential program or experience managing a field marketing program as a Team Lead or Field Marketing Manager.
  • Demonstrates personal leadership skills, time management skills, and has self-sufficient proactive skills.
  • Previous experience managing part staff/ brand ambassadors.  
  • Demonstrates creative and strategic thinking ability.
  • Effective oral and written communications skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Experience driving sprinter vans or box truck is a plus.
  • Heavy lifting is required.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% (with in Liberty area).
  • Flex Scheduling is required (nights /weekends/Holidays).
