Senior Manager, Digital Experience

Kinder's

Walnut Creek, CA

Full-time

Posted 11 days ago

Job description

BUILT ON FLAVOR. FUELED BY PEOPLE.

What's it like to work at Kinder's? Well, there's a lot of snacking and geeking out over what we all cooked over the weekend. Beyond that, there's also plenty of hard work. Because we don't just like flavor, we're obsessed with it.

With over 100 products sold nationwide, we're now a top-five brand in multiple flavor categories at Costco, Walmart, Whole Foods, and more. We're not your typical CPG company. Privately held and founder-led, we like to think of ourselves as a pirate ship in a sea of cruise ships. Our crew is adventurous and fearless. We chart our own course and chase big ideas to make food unforgettable.

As we expand globally and approach $1 billion in revenue, we need more smart-and-scrappy, flavor-obsessed people to come aboard. If you're looking for a place where you can see the real impact of your work... this is it! Every day, you'll be part of a journey to add flavor to millions of meals and lives.

About the Role:

At Bare Bones, we believe real food has the power to nourish people and transform the way they eat. We're on a mission to make nutrient-dense, flavorful bone broth and functional pantry staples more accessible through thoughtful products and exceptional digital experiences.

We're looking for a Senior Digital Experience Manager to own and grow our digital ecosystem. This is a highly cross-functional role that combines strategy, analytics, creative thinking, and execution to drive revenue, strengthen consumer relationships, and build an industry-leading digital experience.

The Senior Digital Experience Manager will lead Bare Bones' digital commerce and consumer experience across all owned and marketplace channels. This person will own the strategy and performance of Amazon, BareBonesBroth.com, CRM, and digital content, working closely with agency partners and internal stakeholders to accelerate growth and improve the customer journey from discovery through loyalty.

The ideal candidate is equal parts ecommerce strategist, digital marketer, and consumer experience leader who is comfortable using data to make decisions while bringing compelling brand stories to life.

Key Responsibilities Include:Amazon Marketplace Leadership
  • Drive Bare Bones' Amazon business strategy in partnership with our external agency, setting goals, reviewing performance, and holding the agency accountable to KPIs.
  • Optimize product listings, A+ Content, Brand Store, search visibility, promotions, and merchandising.
  • Analyze business performance and identify opportunities to improve traffic, conversion, average order value, and profitability.
  • Partner with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure strong execution across the marketplace.
Ecommerce & Website Experience
  • Own the BareBonesBroth.com experience, including Revenue, merchandising, navigation, product pages, landing pages, and site content.
  • Monitor site health, analytics, and customer behavior to continuously optimize performance.
  • Manage ecommerce promotions, product launches, and merchandising calendars.
CRM & Customer Lifecyle Marketing
  • Own the CRM/email strategy end-to-end: segmentation, lifecycle flows, campaign calendar, and performance reporting.
  • Build lifecycle marketing programs that improve acquisition, conversion, retention.
  • Deliver compelling messaging that reflects the Bare Bones brand, balancing promotional and brand-building content.
  • Track campaign performance and continuously optimize through testing and segmentation.
Content Strategy
  • Develop an integrated content strategy that supports ecommerce growth, SEO, CRM, and brand storytelling.
  • Partner with internal teams and external creators to produce high-performing digital content
  • Ensure content aligns with consumer needs across every stage of the purchase journey.
Analytics & Optimization
  • Establish KPIs and reporting dashboards across ecommerce, Amazon, CRM, and content performance.
  • Translate customer insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead A/B testing and experimentation across digital touchpoints.
  • Monitor competitive trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to identify growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate closely with Social Media, Brand Management, Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and agency partners.
  • Manage digital budgets and external vendor relationships.
  • Champion a customer-first mindset across all digital experiences.
What You Bring To The Table:
  • 6–10+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or digital experience management within a CPG, food & beverage, or consumer brand.
  • Demonstrated success growing Amazon and direct-to-consumer ecommerce businesses.
  • Experience managing ecommerce platforms such as Shopify.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Klaviyo, Attentive, or similar lifecycle marketing tools
  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, and ecommerce reporting tools.

  • Strong understanding of ecommerce analytics, customer acquisition, SEO, conversion optimization, and digital merchandising.
  • Experience managing agency partners and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Location and Travel:

The position will be based out of our office in Walnut Creek, CA. We strongly believe in the power of culture and community and have a hybrid work structure with 4 days in the office on a weekly basis to encourage collaboration and personal connections that will allow us to better serve our customers and consumers and to have more fun. Employees currently enjoy 1 flex day per week with the opportunity to choose to be either in the office or to work from home based on what makes most sense for them and their teams.

Pay Transparency:

The expected starting salary range for this role is $160,000-$180,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.

SEASONED FOR SUCCESS:
  • No two days here are the same.
  • We try to be good team members and good communicators, but we don't live by hierarchy and structure – everyone is a difference maker here.
  • We make a lot of decisions in the face of incomplete information – our team embraces ambiguity and tries to make good decisions fast rather than great decisions slow.
  • We believe our job is to take smart risk, not to eliminate risk.
  • We believe in growing our skills and becoming a better company with more managerial expertise, but we are an entrepreneurial company at heart.
  • We aren't trying to be average – we want to do exceptional things, and we are willing to work hard to achieve them.
BENEFITS THAT BRING MORE TO THE TABLE:

We offer a range of total rewards that may include paid time off, 401k, bonus / incentive eligibility, equity grants, competitive health benefits, and other family-friendly benefits, including parental leave. Kinder's benefits vary based on eligibility and can be reviewed in more detail during the interview process.

OUR RECIPE FOR BALANCE:

We believe great culture starts with people. We're a people-first company built on connection, collaboration, and balance. Most of our work happens in the office to spark creativity and community, but we also offer flexibility so team members have the autonomy to work outside the office when needed to support their work-life balance and personal commitments.
