Sr. E-commerce Manager

Location: Remote

Salary: 125K - 156K

At Nordic Naturals, we respect each individual for their uniqueness and the value they bring to our organization. We place an emphasis on self-empowerment and positive inner development. Our practices instill values that are integral to functioning as individuals and as a collective whole. We work interactively as an organization to encourage goal-setting and excellence in both our personal and professional lives. Our team embodies a culture of integrity and we encourage everyone to live longer, healthier lives.

ย

POSITION SUMARY

We are seeking an analytical, data-driven, and collaborative Sr. E-commerce Manager to facilitate the optimization, growth, and day-to-day operations of our direct-to-consumer (D2C) storefronts. In this role, you will be a vital member of our internal digital team, working alongside design, marketing, and outside agencies to continuously elevate the customer journey and maximize digital revenue.

The ideal candidate bridges the gap between creative B2C content management, rigorous data analytics, and technical web infrastructure. You will manage our Shopify platform consumer-facing content, integrating growth-focused applications, administrating sophisticated tracking systems via Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and executing structured A/B testing to drive conversion rate optimization (CRO). The person in this role should have experience with DTC web strategy, email/CRM strategy, and an understanding of consumer purchase behavior.

To ensure success as the DTC E-commerce Manager, you should remain knowledgeable about relevant trends and innovations in direct-to-consumer web sales. Ultimately, you will endeavor to enhance your skillset by continually learning about adjacent techniques that might improve collaboration between departments.

B2C Shopify Storefront & Content Management

  • Oversee day-to-day storefront operations, managing the digital product catalog, promotional calendars, and product collection structures.
  • Partner with internal teams to build, update, and optimize highly engaging consumer landing pages, homepages, and product description pages (PDPs).
  • Optimize on-site search, filtering, and navigation to create a friction-free shopping journey tailored to the B2C buyer's behavior.

App Integration & Consumer Web Management

  • Research, vet, recommend, and organize native and third-party Shopify Apps designed to scale B2C growth (e.g., loyalty rewards programs, customer reviews, upselling engines, subscription models).
  • Ensure technical synergy between the storefront, internal and external development teams, and CRM/email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo).
  • Utilize Google Search Console and other web management tools to monitor technical site health, indexing errors, and mobile responsiveness.

Data Analytics, GA4, & Tagging Infrastructure

  • Administer website tags, marketing pixels, and triggers via Google Tag Manager (GTM) to ensure accurate cross-channel data attribution.
  • Configure custom consumer event tracking, audience segments, and checkout conversion funnels directly inside Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
  • Review, interpret, and share weekly/monthly dashboards tracking core B2C retail metrics: Traffic, Conversion Rate (CVR), Average Order Value (AOV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), among others.

A/B Testing & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Formulate and execute a data-backed conversion rate optimization roadmap utilizing modern testing suites (e.g., VWO, Optimizely, or Shopify-native tools).
  • Deploy, run, and report on systematic A/B and multivariate tests focused on checkout flows, high-impact CTA placement, landing pages, and consumer pricing strategies.
  • Leverage behavioral insight tools (e.g., Hotjar heatmaps, session recordings) to identify and remove drop-off bottlenecks in the consumer purchase funnel.

Internal Project Management & Collaboration

  • Act as a key member that oversees cross-functional tasks within the internal team (marketing, creative, and external development partners).
  • Utilize project management frameworks and tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com) to track site updates, bug fixes, and feature launches from discovery to final QA.
