Job Description
Role: Maintenance Planner / Scheduler
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to coordinate preventive, routine, repair, and emergency maintenance activities across the plant. This role will use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure that all maintenance work is effectively planned, scheduled, and executed with minimal disruption to operations.
Job Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare maintenance work orders for scheduled and emergency maintenance activities
  • Coordinate required resources including labor, tools, and parts for efficient job execution
  • Develop weekly and outage work scopes for hourly maintenance personnel
  • Maintain and build equipment records, bill of materials, and asset data in CMMS
  • Create, schedule, and close out preventive maintenance (PM) tasks in CMMS
  • Continuously improve and adjust PM programs to maximize equipment uptime
  • Track and manage spare parts inventory and equipment documentation

Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a technical field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance planning/scheduling in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Mechanical design experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities with the capability to manage multiple tasks
  • This is a safety sensitive position.
