Job description

Intuit is a mission-driven, global financial platform company that gives everyone the opportunity to prosper. With products like TurboTax, QuickBooks, CreditKarma and Mailchimp, we’re using technology to build solutions to challenging financial problems for millions of people around the world.

At Intuit we believe everyone has the right to prosper, which is why our mission is 'Powering Prosperity Around the World'. Being a mission-driven company includes living our values every day. That means integrity is at the foundation of everything we do, including the products we design, the role we play in the communities we are part of, and the way we treat every person that is a part of the Intuit family.

Our products, including TurboTax, QuickBooks, CreditKarma and MailChimp help solve our customers' most important problems to help them make more money, save time, and make financial decisions with confidence.

We're proud to have a culture that attracts top talent and empowers them to do the best work of their lives. When employees know they can bring their whole selves to work - that translates into an environment that has been recognized as one of the world's best and most innovative places to work year upon year.

Intuit is looking for a Vice President of Product Development, Marketing Technologies to lead the platform organization that powers how we acquire, engage, personalize, and retain customers across our product portfolio. This executive will unify teams spanning marketing data and audience management, and personalization, experimentation, and customer-facing content and communications into one cohesive, AI-native platform organization.

The ideal candidate's experience encompasses technical architecture and/or software development, business strategy, and people management experience. This executive will have an ability to leverage prior success building and re-architecting products and platforms that run at scale. You will lead a large, globally distributed engineering organization through a team of directors, influence executives across Marketing, Product, and Engineering, and shape the technology strategy that determines how our products are discovered, personalized, and grown in an AI-first world.

Responsibilities
  • Technology Strategy: Own and evolve the technical strategy across data, audience, experimentation, personalization, and content platforms. Bring strong AI/ML expertise and drive adoption of GenAI and agentic systems to improve speed and efficiency.

  • Organizational Leadership: Lead multiple teams and senior leaders across a complex, global domain. Partner with senior engineering and business leaders to drive organizational change, and manage stakeholders across US and international time zones.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Product, Design, Marketing, and Customer Support to deliver customer outcomes, bringing an outside-in perspective to shape strategy 1-3 years out.

  • Platform Mindset: Drive open, reusable platform architecture and company-wide initiatives spanning data architecture, engineering standards, and technical career development.

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure platforms are secure, available, scalable, and resilient, while delivering quality at speed.

  • People Leadership: Coach and develop senior technology leaders; attract, retain, and grow top engineering talent.

  • Speed as a Habit: Operate effectively in a fast-moving environment, making quick, well-informed decisions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience); 15+ years in the software industry in senior architecture, engineering, and leadership roles.

  • Demonstrated success building and scaling SaaS/platform products serving millions of customers and high transaction volumes.

  • Proven experience leading large, globally distributed engineering organizations, including managing and developing senior directors and their leadership teams.

  • Deep knowledge of marketing-technology domains: data platforms, audience and lead management, monetization, experimentation, personalization, content management, and customer communications, with a clear build-vs-buy point of view.

  • Strong AI/ML and GenAI fluency, including experience scaling AI-native and agentic systems (e.g., AI-driven content discovery, recommendation systems) in production.

  • Experience with account-based B2B marketing and sales motions and enterprise experimentation platforms is a strong plus.

  • Track record of leading change management toward a unified platform model, and driving strong business outcomes through fast, balanced decision-making.

  • Experience using Agile methods to accelerate delivery while managing risk.

  • Proficiency with modern web and data technologies (e.g., React, Java, JavaScript, NoSQL) and strong front-end/back-end architectural judgment.

  • A data-driven leader and strong coach who builds high-performing teams and attracts top talent.

  • Comfort operating through ambiguity, with the confidence to make tough calls and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
