Description
The Learning and Development Specialist will support the enhancement of workforce development and education initiatives by assisting with utilization and maintenance of various learning systems and programs.
This individual will provide essential support to the Education team through the management of various processes, programs, and projects.
Respects diversity and individualizes care to meet the unique needs of the patients, visitors, staff, students, and vendors.

Complies with the Organizational Integrity Plan and adheres to MGMC and departmental policies and procedures.
Actively participates and promotes continuous quality improvement and patient satisfaction.
Utilizes AIDET as a communication framework
Protects & preserves patient dignity and confidentiality.
Adheres to expectations for Safe Behavior
Supports the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of MGMC's educational programs, learning systems, and digital competency platform.
Supports delivery of training, consultation, and provides ongoing support to leaders, educators, and staff on education programs and systems.
Supports the creation, assignment, and maintenance of computer-based learning (CBL) content and curriculum assignments, ensuring accuracy, usability, and alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Collaborates with subject matter experts to develop, review, and maintain education and competency initiatives that align with organizational and departmental goals, regulatory requirements and best-practice standards.
Supports a variety professional development programs and initiatives by coordinating programs, resources and learning opportunities that promote staff growth and development.
Continuously evaluates the effectiveness of programs and training initiatives, using data and feedback to recommend improvements that enhance learning outcomes and user experience.
Supports organizational compliance by assisting with mock audits, maintaining accurate learning and competency documentation, and ensuring content meets regulatory and accreditation standards.
Provide administrative and operational support for educator-focused initiatives, including the Educator Academy.
Supports nursing professional development and education initiatives
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associates degree in business management, healthcare management, human resources, or related field.
Professional certification in Talent Development.
1+ years of experience in Human Resources, or other related field
Fluent in Microsoft Office.
Great attention to detail.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
