The position plays an integral role in the Operations Finance leadership team. The position contributes to the overall success of the organization by proactively managing all the grow facilities operations accounting tasks for Jushi and provides insight into the financials for the VP of Operations and Chief Operating Officer. The Senior Inventory Manager has supervisory responsibilities for all the regional team members. Primary responsibilities are ensuring accurate accounting for the grow facilities and drive standardization across all sites. The Operations Accounting function works with operations as well as the general accounting team to drive costing oversight, compliance and supports the analytics for manufacturing and retail inventory and cost of goods sold. The position will support the operational leadership for the Grow Processors and Retail operations by providing quality and timely financial data and by working as a business partner with the team to ensure accurate forecast and KPI information is used to drive results.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and ensure consistent application of cost accounting principles across the North America manufacturing sites
  • Mentor, train and develop staff accountants.
  • Provide Wholesale Revenue Analysis
  • Work with operations to improve physical count effectiveness and efficiency for both GPs and Retail
  • Assess inventory for excess and obsolescence reserves.
  • Review and approve manual GL journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analysis of manufacturing variances and the capitalization of variances
  • Support margin analysis for Retail Operations
  • Responsible for analysis of intercompany activity between GPs and Retail Operations
  • Assist with the coordination and deliverables for quarterly reviews and annual audits performed by internal and external auditors.
  • Prepare ad hoc reporting and analyses and assist team with research on cost accounting questions and assist with special projects as requested.
  • Review work and conduct goal setting, performance evaluations and career development discussions for team
  • Identify and drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance; preferably MBA and/or CMA or CPA certification
  • 10 years of direct experience in accounting, reporting, and costing leadership within a large, professionally managed operating company
  • Manufacturing background with in-depth knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial reporting for a manufacturing organization
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to influence and engage business partners, peers, direct/indirect reports
  • Have ability to effectively interface with senior management Self-reliant, problem solver and results oriented.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong team building skills and proven ability to work with a diverse group of people
  • You possess a strong knowledge of cost accounting principles
