Job description

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Perform duties as an Intelligence Analyst (Scientific and Technical) Lead in design concerned with developments in basic scientific and technical (S&T) research and development including engineering and production techniques, technology, and weapons systems and their capabilities and characteristics. S&T Intelligence Analysts may be involved in Research, Development, Test Support, Documentation, Briefings and Presentations, and All-Source Intelligence Analysis.
Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties:
  • Provide or assist with leadership, organization, vision, innovation, and supervisory skills to a technical branch.
  • Compile, develop, analyze, produce, and maintain technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
  • Research and develop written and oral multi-domain analytic briefings and reports for internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate and work with external agencies to include intelligence community participants and developmental and operational test community.
  • Direct interface and liaison with customers at all levels from quotation to final design and test.
  • Lead specialized technical groups/committees.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, compiling, and developing products on various threats, intelligence, and technological developments derived from intelligence research of databases, HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, MASINT, OSINT, Cyber intelligence and professional contacts.
  • Must have knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle, and organizations.
  • Must have knowledge of and adept skills with intelligence tools (Fade MIST, BODHI, Thresher, iSPY, CHROME, NSA Pulse, Viking, LAIKA).
  • Must have experience working with intelligence community members (NSA, NASIC, DIA, etc.)
  • Must have experience working in or coordinating with geographic combatant commands, particularly USINDOPACOM, USECOM, and USCENTCOM.
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, experience in report writing and presentation.
  • TS/SCI preferred.

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
The incumbent must have a BS and 14 years of specialized experience in gathering, analyzing, compiling, and developing products on various threats, intelligence, and technological developments derived from the research of databases, films, journals, images, HUMINT, SIGINT, and/or professional contacts. Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle, and organizations is required.
In addition, an Intelligence Analyst V must possess the following qualifications:
  • Must possess engineering design and advanced computer skills using software products such as CAD and other graphic design programs. Some positions may require maintenance of a technical information facility and central repository of hardcopy finished intelligence products and knowledge in availability of government transportation and payload capabilities.
  • Must possess planning/organizing skills
  • Must be able to work under deadlines
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance
  • Must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license

SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 to $135,000 annually.
Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4 considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market/business considerations when extending an offer.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting to 30 pounds, constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must be able to work duty days in excess of eight hours and perform shift and weekend work to meet required schedule demands.
This position may require travel.
