Senior Inorganic Chemistry Professor Jobs (NOW HIRING)

The Chemistry Department at Wesleyan University invitesapplications for an open-rank tenure-track Professor of Chemistryposition in any of the areas encompassed by experimental physical,computational physical, or inorganic chemistry, with an expectedstart date of July 1, 2027. The successful candidate will beexpected to develop a vibrant, externally funded research programinvolving both graduate and undergraduate researchers. Candidatesshould also demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching atboth the undergraduate and graduate levels. Special considerationwill be given to candidates capable of teaching courses in bothintroductory and advanced topics of physical chemistry or inorganicchemistry for both undergraduate and graduate student populations.Additional duties include advising and mentoring students andparticipating in faculty governance at the departmental anduniversity level. Candidates who have demonstrated success inworking with diverse populations and whose research couldcontribute to Wesleyan’s interdisciplinary programs (including, butnot limited to, the College of the Environment, the College ofIntegrative Sciences, and the College of Design and EngineeringStudies) are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field at thetime of application.
