As a Project Manager for Michels Mission Critical your key responsibilities will be to manage a phase of a larger project or manage multiple smaller projects ensuring profitable operations. This position will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. It is essential to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Critical for success are the abilities to work independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, and anticipate and meet internal and external customer needs.

What it takes:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering or related and 5+ years of related experience in Construction, or equivalent combination of both
  • PM experience and experience with large, multi-scope, construction builds
  • Experience supporting data center site development or heavy civil construction associated with data center campuses or similar large-scale site developments preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and civil plans
  • Familiarity reviewing CAD drawings
  • Experience working in Procore or similar construction management platforms
  • Ability to perform basic takeoffs from plans
  • PE or Engineering experience desired but not required
  • Ability to identify deliverables, work with internal team members to generate proposal documents, and provide quality review prior to customer deadlines
  • Ability to review technical documents, coordinate with internal teams, and support project-specific planning and documentation
  • Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record
  • Available to work onsite and travel up to 50% is required
