The Role
The Client Engagement Services (CES) Senior Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex enterprise infrastructure and technology transformation projects for our clients. This role requires an experienced project leader with a proven background managing large-scale deployments involving enterprise networking, data center technologies, firewalls, cybersecurity solutions, unified communications, wireless infrastructure, and related technologies.
The ideal candidate understands both project management excellence and enterprise infrastructure environments, allowing them to effectively lead technical teams, communicate with executive stakeholders, proactively manage risk, and consistently deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Experience leading cloud infrastructure initiatives involving Microsoft Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud environments is highly desirable.
Responsibilities include:
  • Lead complex enterprise infrastructure projects including:
  • Coordinate all project activities with business owners/stakeholders and other support, technical infrastructure, and application teams
  • Partner closely with engineering architects and technical leads to understand project scope, technical dependencies, implementation risks, and deployment strategies.
  • Manage projects involving multiple technical disciplines including networking, security, collaboration, cloud, and infrastructure engineering teams.
  • Drive technical planning sessions, implementation readiness reviews, cutover planning, risk assessments, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Identify infrastructure risks early and develop mitigation strategies before they impact customer deployments.
  • Successfully manage projects involving multiple vendors including OEMs, carriers, cloud providers, and third-party implementation partners.
  • Track and maintain an accurate and continually updated view of the activities and deliverables to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meets or exceeds customer satisfaction goals.
  • Assure that the expected service levels are met and that all Statement of Work deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Perform day-to-day management of all phases of the project including, project requirements, design, development, test, and deployment of each project
  • Manage resource planning and assignments by partnering with internal staff to determine the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedules according to the project timeline
  • Define team member roles and expectations and ensures effective communication between all parties involved in the project
  • Maintain project budgets by reviewing and completing weekly timesheet and expense approvals for project teams
  • Monitors cost to provide accounting support for project time, materials, and services. This may include monitoring carriers and equipment suppliers to ensure that hardware and circuits are tracked and billed correctly
  • Oversees change management on the overall project scope, according to a predefined change process, to meet project goals
  • Develops a partner relationship with the client for the long-term benefit of the client and Presidio
  • Remain up-to-date on relevant solutions, products, and services by attending internal PM training/meetings, achieving developmental plan goals, and obtaining or maintaining PM certifications
  • Actively participates in the development of Program and Project Management practices by participating in internal change initiatives

Business Scope:
  • The Senior Project Manager will be a key piece of the Project Management Office for the Cloud Services practice of Presidio.
  • This team manages and drives our Cloud Services most critical, complex, and enterprise level projects for our clients in the Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Technology, and Energy industries.
  • The Senior Project Manager will deliver professional service projects in the Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps spaces, requiring a deep understanding of the Application Stack, Agile processes, technical project delivery, and Cloud (Amazon Web Services & Azure).
  • The Senior Project Manager and this division serves as a critical liaison between technical teams, client stakeholders, business development, and solutions architecture team members.

Technical Scope:
  • The Senior Project Manager will be supporting technical teams working with the latest cutting-edge technologies in the Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps spaces.
  • The Senior Project Manager supports a large Cloud and DevOps team delivering automation, assessments, cloud builds, application migrations, and workshops (Cloud and DevOps).
  • The Senior Project Manager must have an understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Azure cloud technologies, and how application stacks in the cloud.
  • The Senior Project Manager will have to effectively communicate timelines, key performance indicators, agile scrum standups and sprints, and delivery timelines from the Presidio development team to the client stakeholders.
