What does an inbound SDR do?

An inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for qualifying and engaging with leads that come through inbound channels such as website forms, email inquiries, or marketing campaigns. A senior inbound sales development representative is a sales professional responsible for qualifying and nurturing inbound leads to generate sales opportunities. This role often involves mentoring junior team members and developing strategies to improve lead conversion rates.

Is SDR the hardest sales job?

The Senior Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is often considered challenging due to the need for strong communication, qualification skills, and resilience in handling high rejection rates. It requires consistent prospecting, product knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple leads efficiently, making it demanding but essential for sales pipelines.

Do Sdr make good money?

Senior Inbound Sales Development Representatives typically earn a base salary plus commissions or bonuses based on sales performance.
