Summary:
We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a HVAC Project Coordinator. Reporting to the Senior HVAC Manager and the Facilities and Engineering Director, this individual will be responsible for managing the development of domestic infrastructure for Trulieve product lines in the US. They will be the driving force for converting the company's strategic goals into action, working across the organization to deliver results. The role will include routine communications with senior leadership and be highly visible. A successful candidate will be solutions-oriented, with a bias for action and a tenacious approach to problem solving. The HVAC Project Coordinators will be responsible for HVAC related projects and SME support for HVAC related issues throughout all of our sites. There is one project coordinator per region (SE, NE, and SW).

HVAC Project Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Research and present suggestions for equipment and systems for improved environmental conditions
  • Manage HVAC unit installations or retrofit projects from start to finish.
  • Facilitate and manage HVAC improvement projects
  • Perform HVAC Load Calculations
  • Create and execute project timelines
  • Contractor Management and Scheduling
  • Works closely with engineers, OEM suppliers, and key stakeholders to determine solutions to HVAC related issues
  • Ensure timely execution and implementation of every aspect of project Monitors and reports on the progress of the project to all appropriate individuals.
  • Minimizes company exposure and risk by preemptively identifying project issues.
  • Formulate and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.
  • Manage project budget and ensure profitability.
  • Manage and resolve vendor issues as they arise.
  • Negotiate final vendor HVAC costs
  • Assist Technicians with existing HVAC issues and other tasks as they arise

HVAC Project Coordinator Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred, Two-year Technical Degree, or a minimum of Five years' experience in Management or Supervision especially centered around projects.
  • HVAC Project Management: 2 Years' Experience
  • Extensive experience with HVAC Control and Monitoring Systems
  • Most have installation and troubleshooting knowledge of freon systems, LP/Natural Gas, Dehumidification, Fresh Air and Exhaust Systems
  • Knowledge of Co2 Generation Systems
  • Experience with clean rooms and clean environments will be a plus
  • Previous experience in a food production, GMP, Industrial Manufacturing, or Indoor Nursery
  • Possess strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Technically inclined to understand and explain construction project /scopes of work.
  • Experience with clean room and clean environments a plus
  • Previous experience as an HVAC Technician a plus
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook & Internet Explorer REQUIRED.
  • Must be able to function well in a high-intensity, constant changing environment.
  • HVAC and Facilities Management knowledge
  • After hour/weekend work for projects taking place. Communication with clients and vendors outside business hours
  • Trave required to in and out of state sites that are not local (25% to 50%)
