Job Description: The HVAC Install Foreman leads and supervises residential and/or commercial HVAC installation crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with mechanical codes, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards. This role plans daily work, coordinates labor and materials, and serves as the on-site leader who keeps projects on schedule and within scope while maintaining clear communication with project managers, contractors, inspectors, and customers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HVAC installation experience.
  • Leadership or foreman experience in HVAC installations preferred but strong leadership capability required.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and develop junior technicians and apprentices.
  • Experience with both residential and commercial HVAC installations.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, and applicable mechanical codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Hands-on experience with installation of HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, controls, and sheet metal components.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, installation, service, and repair of HVAC systems.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with project management software or digital job-tracking tools.
  • Strong customer-service mindset and ability to interact professionally with homeowners and business clients.
  • EPA Certification, State or local HVAC licensing where applicable.
