Champion & Nash HVAC is an established company with over four decades of experience providing top tier residential and light commercial service to the Houston community and surrounding areas.

About the Role

Champion & Nash is looking for an experienced HVAC Install Helper to assist the Lead Installer in completing installations efficiently and accurately. This is a full-time role that will report into the Install Manager and be based out of our growing Pasadena, TX office.

This role is ideal for someone who has experience as an HVAC install helper or apprentice and is looking to take the next step toward becoming a Lead Installer in the near future.

What You'll Do
  • Assist Lead Installer with all installations, while being efficient and accurate

  • Help with properly staging jobs by ensuring everything is present and adhering to quality standards

  • Support maintaining a clean and organized job site

  • Participate in trainings and meetings to develop professionally

  • Complete ultimately and accurate paperwork

  • Have or be willing to get any proper certifications as needed

We'd Love To Hear From You If You Have
  • 2+ years of experience as an HVAC install helper or apprentice

  • Experience in the HVAC industry a plus

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
  • Must consider safety one's primary job and must have general knowledge of safe working practices and OSHA requirements

  • To adequately perform the duties of this job the team member is regularly and routinely required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, use hands to handle controls, hear, and talk

  • Must be able to climb ladders, work in hot and cold environments, and work in small crawl spaces

  • The ability to regularly lift and/or move 50+ lbs is required

  • The work environment can vary depending on the season and scope of work – employees are required to work outdoors throughout the seasons
